Phlebotomist

If it is necessary for you to have a blood test, you will be asked to make an appointment through the reception desk to have blood taken either by our phlebotomists or in the treatment room.

Please note most blood tests need to be taken earlier in the day as the latest collection by the courier to be taken to Southmead Hospital is at 3pm.

If you have been asked to ring in for the result please telephone the surgery after 2.00pm, at least three working days after your specimen was taken.
