Childtime

Childtime provides a subsidised counselling service for children/young people experiencing emotional difficulties and their families. Charges are subsidised and on a sliding scale according to circumstances. Provides supervision to workers in other children's organisations and runs short courses for play workers on the emotional life of the child.

Our Place: A Centre for Families who Foster and Adopt

Provides post adoption/foster care family support. Our Place is a charity which does not charge fees. Provides information and advice on after school/holiday activities for children, toddler groups, workshops and groups, child development, as well as how to handle children's behavioural, educational, health and emotional difficulties.

Offers art and play therapy, educational support, counselling for families, adults and children.

Bristol Children's Playhouse

Daily drop-in family centre and pre-school nursery group, offering parent support, advice and counselling. Provides holiday activities, outreach/home visits and befriending. Bristol Children's Playhouse aims to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in need within the family and to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for pre-school children.

Drop-in centre open daily 9:00am - 3:15pm,
Nursery 9:00am - 12:45pm.

KHAAS

Khaas is a unique organisation in the South West, that provides services to Asian families who have children with disabilities and special needs. This organisation not only offers one-to-one emotional and non-judgmental advice, but families are also encouraged to get over their feelings of guilt, shock, anger, anxiety and isolation of being a carer of a special needs child. Khaas provides the following services: Saturday respite care, holiday play scheme, keep fit and health-related sessions.
